Account information — When you sign up or sign in with Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo.
Location data — With your permission, we collect your device location to show nearby snack spots on the map and to send you relevant notifications about spots near you.
User-generated content — We store snack spots, harvest logs, ratings, comments, and photos that you create within the app.
Device and usage data — We collect standard device identifiers, app interaction data, and crash reports to improve the app experience.
Photos and camera — With your permission, we access your camera and photo library so you can add images to your profile and snack spots.
Push notification tokens — If you enable notifications, we store your device push token to send you relevant updates.
SnackTrack uses the following third-party services that may collect data according to their own privacy policies:
We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may use device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized advertisements. On iOS, we request your consent via the App Tracking Transparency framework before any tracking for ad personalization occurs. You can opt out of personalized ads at any time through your device settings.
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated personal data, including your profile, snack spots, and activity history, will be permanently removed from our systems.

SnackTrack is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
